Amber Reavis knows the Triangle so well that she could be your local tour guide! Amber is a
native Raleigh-born and Wake County-schooled North Carolinian who knows just about every
local place and everyone here. This is where Amber grew up, helping with many day-to-day
tasks of running three small family-owned businesses. Subsequently, this is where she learned
the values of service, hard work, and dedication early on.

Growing up a voracious reader, Amber was also a spelling bee winner. She attended North
Carolina State University on a full scholarship where she wrote and edited for its online
magazine, Americana, and co-hosted an electronic music radio segment on WKNC, while
working and earning a bachelor’s degree in English. Amber’s love for learning and education
brought her back to NC State for English Education Licensure. While still a student herself,
Amber began tutoring middle schoolers and started teaching in Wake County, where she
worked for fourteen years, most recently in a resource setting.

Amber’s start in property management began as a resident! Eight years ago she was
recommended by her own apartment’s manager to apply for a leasing consultant position. After
starting in the multifamily industry while still teaching, she built on her knowledge of leasing,
marketing, fair housing, home maintenance, and much more. Amber’s unwavering commitment
to strong customer service, star leasing, and attention to organization and detail helped her
bring her apartment community to 100 percent leased and pre-leased status. What began as a
summer job became a passion and a place of continuous learning, leading her to pursue higher
education yet again– this time in real estate.

Outside of the Victory office, Amber is a mother, partner, a twenty-plus years practicing yogi,
dancer, and an educator who loves giving back to her community and all things artistic. Amber
has volunteered for local arts programs, including with the North Carolina Museum of Art. You
can also find her on the Internet Movie Database (IMDB) for her work on local, independent film
projects. Amber enjoys reading, writing, practicing and appreciating visual and performing arts,
music, languages, cooking, growing her own vegetables, hiking, and traveling. She is
well-rounded.
